Veterans Pavilion

Veterans Pavilion has 3 ADA accessible tables, 5 regular picnic tables, 2 grills, water, electric and porta-johns for restrooms. This is the pavilion closest to the multipurpose field.

This pavilion is located in Independence Park. Independence Park features a multi-purpose field with playground equipment for children, lacrosse/soccer/baseball/softball fields, sand volleyball courts, horseshoe courts, walking path, and has two pavilions with picnic tables and grills.

Located on Independence Drive, which is off Levans Road and behind CVS Drug Store. Directions are Route 309 to Levans Road, left onto Independence Drive; the Park is located at the end of Independence Drive.

REFUND POLICY
FACILITY RENTALS
• Full refunds/credit will be issued if the Recreation Department completely cancels a program or event.
• Any cancellation/refund request made 14+ calendar days prior to a rental date will receive a full refund or credit.
• Any household credit will expire at the end of the calendar year.
• No refunds or credits will be granted for pavilion reservations made or canceled less than 14 days in advance from the original rental date.
• Refunds for pavilion rentals will NOT be given due to inclement weather.
• Violations of North Whitehall Township's Park Rules and Ordinances will result in the forfeiture of any refunds and may lead to additional actions, as deemed necessary.
PROGRAMS & CLASSES

• No refunds, for any reason, will be issued once a program has started.

SUMMER CAMP:
• Cancellation/refund requests before April 30th will be issued a full refund.
• Cancellation/refund requests between May 1st and May 31st, refund will be issued minus an administration fee 20%.
• Cancellation/refund requests after June 1st will not be issued a refund.
• No refunds or credits are given if a participant is asked to leave due to inappropriate or unacceptable behavior.
HARDSHIP REFUNDS:
Hardship refunds may be available due to illness, injury or other special circumstances. All requests for a hardship refund need to be requested in writing, and will be granted on a case-by-case basis by the Recreation & Communication Coordinator and Township Manager. Documentation (i.e. doctor’s note) may be required.


NO refunds if cancellation is due to inclement weather unless the event is cancelled 5 days before.
